UPWARD NIGHT AT TROY UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL GAME...

Troy University will host UPWARD night on February 18th at Trojan Arena. All players and cheerleaders get into the game FREE! Parents will get in at a reduced rate. More information to follow!

UPWARD Concession Stand is Now Open - We re-opened our concession stand this past week. Please stop by and purchase a soft drink, coffee, pizza, snacks, candy and much more! All money raised through the concession stand goes to missions.

UPWARD END OF SEASON CELEBRATION...

On March 5th at 6:00 PM, we will be having our END OF THE SEASON CELEBRATION! This is a great time of reflection on what we have accomplished in basketball and through our devotion times. Dear Parents,

Congratulations on a successful first week of games for our 2012 Upward season! We will be doing pictures of each team before games during the second and third weeks. You will be notified by your coach if your pictures are week two or three. Please arrive 30 minutes early, dressed in uniform, ready to take pictures. We will need each team to be as organized as possible to ensure we don't get behind schedule on
the games.

I have included an order form for your pictures on the following page. Please
review the form and call me if you have any questions at (334) 434‐3525. All profits
from the Upward pictures will be going towards 2012 missions, thank you for your
support!

GREAT SATURDAY OF UPWARD GAMES TO TIP-OFF 2012...

The Upward Staff and Leadership wants to thank all the players, families, volunteers who made the first Saturday of the season a success. While half the teams won and half the teams lost, we pray that everyone played hard and had a good time competing.

Remember...this week we have games on Friday night and Saturday. Also, do not forget. Practice continues at your regular practice time.

PHOTOS from week one. We will have our UPWARD photo album up in the next few days. Candace Nelson and others took a number of photos from yesterday's games. We will post them in the next few days. We will provide a link to the photo album once it is up.

2012 SEASON TIPS OFF TOMORROW - SATURDAY JANUARY 7th!!

We will tip-off the 2012 UPWARD Season on Saturday - January 7th. Please see WEEK 1 Schedule for times and court assignments. Please have your child in his/her locker room about 20 min before their game is scheduled to start. We need to line them up and have the player introductions prior to their game.

If your child is the HOME team they wear YELLOW (GOLD). If your child is the VISITING team they wear (BLUE).

Make sure your child returns to the locker room after the game (win or lose) to receive their STARS.GO UPWARD
